On the occasion of its online meeting on March 30, 2022, the FCI General Committee approved the recognition on a provisional basis of the breed:

Continental Bulldog, Standard n°369
Group 2, Section 2.1. Without working trial.

Consequently, this breed is now eligible for the FCI titles (Winner of the World Dog Show, Winner of the Section Shows – Europe, Asia, Africa & Oceania, Americas & the Caribbean).

However, this breed is not eligible for the CACIB until it is recognised on a definitive basis.

In addition, the pedigrees issued to the dogs of this breed, can from now on carry the FCI logo.
